Our cosmetic line Venus Rose is certified with the BDHI COSMOS-standard organic certification. We are choosing the best blend of natural and organic ingredients in order to provide you our unique, organic formulations.
In our products, you can find the COSMOS-ORGANIC logo along with the logo of our certified body BDIH.
This means that our cosmetics meets the strict guidelines stipulated by COSMOS.
What is COSMOS Organic Certification?
The COSMOS-standard is a new cosmetic certification developed to harmonize various certifications and labels in order to create one standard that is internationally recognized for natural and organic cosmetics.
The new certification is a result of Europe’s leading natural cosmetic certifiers coming together and forming a non-profit association, COSMOS-standard AISBL. The COSMOS-standard association consists of five founding members who now authorize and oversee the certification, including the Soil Association (UK), Ecocert (France), Cosmebio (France), BDIH (Germany) and AIAB/ICEA (Italy).
The ultimate objective of this standard is to safeguard, in the area of cosmetics, the welfare of the environment and of people. This stimulate the development of cosmetics that are ever more natural and organic. Furthermore, wants to ensure consumers have clear and transparent information so that they can themselves be an actor for sustainable development.
Therefore, the COSMOS-standard sets out innovative, challenging and progressive criteria for organic and natural cosmetics that consumers can trust, and that are clear for the industry and good for the environment.
Certification enables people to shop with confidence when they are buying organic. Seeing this logo on products means that all organic claims have been independently verified. COSMOS-certified products are produced to the highest standards for organic and natural cosmetics, and are safe, effective and good to use. They are easy to identify from their labels which contain all the information you need to choose if the product fulfils your needs and expectations.
